Anthony Kasowski Obituary

Anthony "Tony/Buck" S. Kasowski, 74, passed away on Wednesday, June 15th at Ellis Hospital after a long illness. Tony was born on December 10, 1941 and was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Jesse (Geddes) Kasowski and his sister, Janet Kasowski. A 1960 graduate of Linton High School, Tony proudly served in the United States Army for three years. He was employed by the General Electric Company as an electrician and Leader for over 35 years before retiring. For many years Tony coached at Woestina Little League and the Rotterdam Babe Ruth. He also served as Commissioner of the Rotterdam Pop Warner for many years. An avid fisherman, Los Angeles Dodgers and Cleveland Browns fan, Tony really enjoyed his woodworking. His greatest joy was being the proud father of two sons, and the grandfather of two grandsons and a granddaughter. Beloved husband of 49 years to Sharon (Campbell) Kasowski, and loving father of Chad S. Kasowski of Schenectady and Tony S. Kasowski (Alysse) of Porter Corners and the cherished grandfather of Kaelan, Hope and Lleyton. Tony is also survived by his sister, MaryAnn Schmidt of Sarasota, Fl and sisters-in-law, Karen Armsby (Allen) of Averill Park, Pam Romano (Joseph) of Albany and Paula Card (Fred) of Guilderland and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday afternoon, June 20th at 2 p.m. at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Viewland Cemetery in Rotterdam, NY. Dear Kasowski Family,

Thinking of all of you especially on this Father's Day with a heavy heart and sending love your way. What I remember about Anthony was what a great
Husband/Dad he was to Tony and Chad and all the fun we use to have growing up together in the same neighborhood, and your Dad was part of those wonderful childhood memories for me which are etched in my mind and I will cherish them forever. With much Love and Sympathy,
Denise and James Brooks
