Dorothy Jean Cameron of Arlington Heights Dorothy Jean Cameron was born June 27, 1927 in East Chicago, Indiana to Lorne C. and Helen (nee Sedgwick) Smith. She died on March 23, 2013 at Oro Valley Hospital in Oro Valley, Arizona. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald J. Cameron whom she married June 17, 1950 in East Chicago, IN; her children, Patricia Cameron Needham and Douglas Lorne Cameron; her grandchildren, Sarah Eileen Jagatic and Robert Cameron Needham; and her great-grandchildren, Nicholas Richard and Amelia Rose Jagatic. Dorothy is preceded in death by her sisters, Eileen Henley and Audrey Bienko, and by her parents. Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, and Friday, April 5, 2013 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service 10:00 AM at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1234 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment is at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be given to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1234 N. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your wonderful Dorothy. I enjoyed so much meeting Dorothy in 2011 and sat with her while you, Don, would go to the golf course. She loved it when you would call her from the course and say hi to her.
She will truly be missed.
