Gail was a friend, and someone I admired very much. Her commitment to the Atrium at Grace UMC was notable. This was the BEST Christian Education for children I have ever seen, and Gail, with Edna Smith, devoted herself to it tirelessly. Even in what turned out to be her last months, she was a spirit-filled, open-hearted, and warmly friendly person. I will never forget her, and have as a physical memory, the ordination banner she (and again, Edna) prepared for me. Wonderful, creative, much beloved friend - she will be missed.

Dear Gary, Lisa, and Bob:

My deepest condolences for your loss. "Auntie Gail" will always hold a special place for her in my heart.

Gail taught our son, John, and she used Cuisinaire rods to teach math concepts -- it was a most useful technique. Her husband made the rods, one set for each child. She had a generous spirit.
