I saw this sad news today on the District 200 website. I cannot believe Mary is gone!! We got to know her about 18 years ago when our son started at Jefferson. Our time at Jefferson and with Mary holds special memories for us. And in the years since, every time I ran into her, she always had her warm, spunky demeanor, even when she was going thru times of illness.
May God bless and keep each one of you and comfort you during this sad time.

As we begin to get ready to start a new school year, I remember Mary. I student taught at Jefferson in Amy Norton's class. I have fond memories of Mary. She was so inviting and welcoming. She and Amy made me feel as I was part of the classroom staff. I learned so much from Mary then as a student teacher and as I began my teaching career at Jefferson. Her inviting and friendly personality has been an inspiration to me. I now have student teachers in my classroom and welcome them with open arms to provide an educational experience to them in a caring environment. Thank you Mary. I miss you. Marlene Byron
Dear AJ and the entire Kalitzky family,
I am very sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I first met your mom when AJ joined our multi-age class.
She was a wonderful person. Any time I ran into her at church or at district functions, she was always proud and eager to share about what AJ was doing. I enjoyed hearing about all his accomplishments. She certainly loved her family. I will keep you in my prayers.

Dear Kalitzky Family,
Please accept my most sincere condolences for your loss. Mary was such a sweet, warm person, caring so much for those she was working with. I had the opportunity to work off and on with her for the past many years, and will miss her smile and greeting, as I walk thru the halls at Jefferson.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
Dear Jen and Bob:

Mary was one of the most dedicated speech pathologists I had the pleasure of knowing. She loved her "kids" and it was obvious in her work.
