Very sorry to hear of Mr. Benzo"s passing!!! I will always remember him as a great leader of Troop 53 and being responsible for helping to teach the skills necessary and show leadership to enable young boys to become productive young men. I will always cherish the memories of Mr. Benzo at campouts and Troop meetings and all the fun we had. Thank You for all your time, leadership and dedication to the Scouting program.
Yours in Scouting, Dick Gobrecht--Eagle Scout

To Mary Ellen, Ed & Colleen, Bob, Jim & Coleen, Bonnie & Kip and all the grandkids, I am really sorry to hear this news. Bob and I were co-workers at Crane, but much more than that as you know. He was a wonderful friend and you all were like family to Jacque and I when we lived near you. All the fun times we had together, from the Wisconsin State Fair to Labor Days in Cedar Rapids, I will always miss Bob's cheerful and fun loving attitude. He and Mary Ellen taught us a lot about life and living, and even though the years have separated us, you guys have never been far from our thoughts. All our love and best wishes to you and your family: we will all miss Bob. We are sorry to miss the memorial, but we are in Houston visiting our daughter and new grandson, or you know we would be there.

Dear Mary Ellen & Family, Sadden to hear the passing of Bob, I respected him for who he was, He was a very respectable person and easy to talk to and was always helpful. I will miss seeing him at the 15 yr. club dinners. I always loved looking over the people and looking for the ones that would always attend and you and Bob were one of them. May peace and wonderful memories be with all of you. Great guy will be missed. Barb Johnson, Vice President of the John Crane 15 yr. Club.
