Charles, I will miss you. We had great times growing up together. Your cousin, Palmer(Pete) & Judy Goodwin

Growing up next door to the Goodwin family for almost 10 years were some of the happiest times in my life. Chuck was a large part of that and I always will remember him as the warm and friendly, hardworking father of my best friends. My condolences to you all.

So glad we were able to see you last month. It was wonderful, as always, to see you, and we cherish the time we had with your father. He was an incredible, fun, inspirational man, and we were lucky and blessed to have known him. God Bless..
With much sympanthy,

Dear Midge,

Heard the news about Uncle Charlie late and so sorry we missed the service. Our heartfelt condolences to you and your family. He was a good husband, father and uncle to the Foster family.

Dear Midge, Lisa, Michael, David & Jill... Fifty-three years ago Chuck and Lou met when they were stationed at Montrose Beach in Chicago. Chuck was the easy-going guy with a wry grin that was always gracing his face. Our friendship stuck. Mike & Minnie became our children's grandparents as we waved to the train from their front porch when we visited. Our sons Chris & Mark still brag that one summer they rode their bikes 10 miles each way to work with "Uncle Charlie" at the A&W drive-in. Midge sold us our house in Naperville when we moved back from Arizona. Your kids grew as ours did and now you have wonderful grandchildren. And we are still - and always will be - good friends. We pray that God will watch over Chuck and give Midge and the family comfort & strength. Talk to you soon. Love, Lou & Judy Truty
