Liz and Barb, Your Dad was a prince among men. I remember his love of beagles, Gunsmoke and, of course, of Big Kid and Little Kid.

To Barb, Elizabeth, lovely Dorothy and the grandchildren. As you know or may have heard I have been on a golfing driving trip to S.C. with a small group of friends that had been planned and set up months ago or I would have been with you at your side. I do share your grief and your sorrow and your love and your admiration for a very special man. I was 17 years old and three days out of high school when Bob came into or I came into his life in 1962. Bob was my boss, my friend, my teacher, my mentor and my master (professional surveyor). i was so fortunate to be placed into his hands by the One above. Bob and Tom (Mr. Moody) forged me into what I am as a professional and focused and guided me as a person (like you would a son). Bob was unlike anyone I have ever met in many ways and I could go on and on. As you know Barb in the art of surveying, facts, truth and ethics are paramount along with honor, the skill and clever ability to retrace long gone footsteps. Bob was the ultimate master. He was the most principled and most honorable man in this era or any other that I can think of. Tom had the ability to lighten him up and/or ruffle his feathers to keep him balanced and in good form. What a pair! I loved them both and always will.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I have so many great memories of Bob growing up as a kid that I will never forget. He will be greatly missed.
