PHYLLIS ANN SCHIER

Phyllis Ann Schier Phyllis Ann (Christen) Schier, 70, passed away Dec. 25, 2014, at her home. Phyllis was born Dec. 28, 1943, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Ferd and Louise (McCarthy) Christen. Phyllis attended Purdue University as a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology. Phyllis married Raymond Schier in June of 1966 in Parkridge, Illinois. She was a Flight Attendant for Northwest Airlines and retired in 1986. She was a member of Dusty Wings an organization of retired flight attendants. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Raymond Schier. She was preceded in death by her parents. Phyllis was an avid golfer and was a member of the Walla Walla Country Club. She loved her golf buddies and was a well-liked lady. She loved to travel and go on cruises. Phyllis and her husband regularly contributed to the Blue Mountain Humane Society.
