Barbara, our deepest heartfelt condolences for you and your family.

I spent a lot of time with George and Mitz when I was a child. I will remember George as a sort of second father. He always had some fun treasure-hunt like game set up for me when I would come to spend the weekends with them. I have so many memories of things we did together in the first apartment they lived in.

I spent whole summers with them while they lived in California. George introduced me to waves that knock you off your feet, starfish, and sand crabs. He went on all the rides with me at Disneyland.

I saw less of George as I grew and started my education and, finally, a family, but he was always my second dad. I will miss his sharp mind and humor and his big hugs.

Our hearts grieve over the loss of George. We remember fondly the great times we had in Florida with George and Mitz, playing golf and walking the beaches. George's absence will be felt for the rest of our lives.
