Daddy,
There are so many things you taught me...Do something right the first time so you won't have to do them again.( I guess that's why we had to re - wash all the dishes if even one was dirty!) The Value of a good, strong handshake. Never let them see you cry. (That ones not working out too well lately)and so many other things.
You and Mom made us feel rich - even when we had to scrape for a half gallon of ice- cream!
I'm so glad I had the chance to tell you how proud I am of you. Serving your country and sacrificing so many things to keep us all safe.
You were a proud, strong, stubborn man. You were a kind, loving, good - hearted man. But most important to me...You were my Daddy.
You will remain in my heart until we are together again.
I love you dearly Daddy, Peggy Ann

I will always remember Uncle Spencer's lovely blue eyes. I remember fondly visiting my cousin's while growing up together. I always thought it must be fun to have such a large family. Love Barbara & Alvin
