Carolyn was a grand lady and important national personage. It was our great loss when she left TCU.
Today is a sad day for me. Trying to contact Carolyn with a question and I find out that she has passed. Carolyn was a great colleague, researcher and friend to many. She will be missed, but the work she did will be remembered for an eternity. Many will walk in the steps that she left for us. She was an awesome lady and friend. Her family will be in my prayers.
Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for our loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you Edward, Diana, Dara, and Steve.
As we grieve know that I am remembering you and honoring the memory of my friend, mentor, and mother Dr. Carolyn Richardson Durham who helped me and others. Her greatest joy was making others excel and happy at what they do.

My sincere and heartfelt sympathies for the Richardson/Durham family. I was hoping to "catch up" with Carolyn at our high school reunion in June. I have thought of her often and will keep her in my prayers. Ruth Borgstrom Ziznewski
We are blessed to have Dr. Durham in our lives for a short time. Dr. Durham made an impact in our life. We are thankful for the opportunity of being her students. We learned more about Blacks in Latin American countries and its history. Dr. Durham made learning simple and fun. We will miss her dearly and we will see her in Glory.
