Thank You, Lord, for the wonderful life of Mr. McCauley, who started the Love in the Name of Christ. We who still work here to serve the poor and those in need. Well done, good and faithful servant.

I am so grateful for my friend Al McCauley who was my spiritual father. Back in the late 70's Al came along side of me to help establish Christians in Action Ministries (CIA) of Charlottesville, Virginia. He was not only a board member and advisor, but a faithful contributor. When I left CIA to return to school, Al continued with the ministry which eventually merged with another non-profit organization called Love Inc. Over the years we stayed in close communication. I can still remember his excitement when he took a course in basic computer which opened up to him the world of email; he used email to keep in touch with a number of his friends. When I started Mission Link International 16 years ago, Al was a wonderful counselor and supporter of this new international mission. In my eyes, he was a spiritual giant! His singular purpose in life was to help others in the “name of Christ.” He followed Jesus's model of “serving and not being served.” Al literally fleshed out the Bible day-by-day. If you ever wondered what a true believer in Christ looked like, then one needed to look no further than William (Al) McCauley. Al has now entered into the joy of the Lord and his eternal rest. Praise God for this man of God! I will greatly miss him. Dr. Rick Sadler, President of Mission Link International.
