I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your POP. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet him this past summer. He was a very kind man. I will always remember him joking around with me saying I was eating all the popcorn. He had a smile that made you smile back. I hope that you will all find comfort in the memories that you have with him. Rest in peace Mr. McCloughy.

Wendy and Family,
I am truly saddened by your loss of Tom. He was a dedicated professional and family man. Tom had a heart of gold, willing to do anything for anyone. I have nothing but fond memories of Tom, and he will be greatly missed. Another angel has entered the gates of heaven, and he is now looking down over you. Be well, and may God bless you all.
To the McCloughy Family:
Please accept my sincere condolences. I was privileged to know Tom through our chosen life's work and occasional meeting in recent years at the grocery store. To me Tom will always be remembered as the complete professional police officer. One who was dedicated not just to his family but to the community he served , the people he worked with and the law enforcement profession. Tom cared about people regardless of their position in life. All of us who knew this caring gentle man and those privileged to work with him will miss him.

Tom was one of my older brother Pat's best friends. Being 14 tears younger I was that pain in the tail kid who always wanted to see what they were up to. They use to chase me around my mom's yard and hang me up in a pine tree in the backyard. When I joined the Morristown Police I would hook up with Tom for a cup of coffee. Funny how years can change things. My sympathy to Wendy and the family and I'm sure my brother was waiting for his arrival.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.
