Julius D. Blakely, Jr., 65, of Dover, passed away Wednesday, September 4th, 2013, at Kindred Hospital, Dover. Julius was born and raised in Columbia, SC., and has been a resident of Dover since 1970.

He served in the U.S. Army during Peacetime. He attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Dover. Julius was a professional automotive detailer at Family Ford, Netcong and he retired in 2001 after ten years. He was an avid wrestling and basketball fan, and loved working on old cars, detailing cars and renovating houses.

He is survived by his wife Cornelia A., of 39 years; two sons Julius D III and his fiancée Denise of Randolph, Jason B. and his fiancée Nicole of Wharton; one beautiful grandson Isaac Julius Blakely. Also survived by four sisters Lucy Newby and her husband Fred of Dover, Henrietta Lawrence also of Dover, Amelia Fleming of Morris Plains and Julia Guiles of Dover; one brother Leroy Blakely and his wife Alice of Columbia, SC. Predeceased by his parents Julius Sr. and Lucy Blakely and his three brothers James, John, and Herbert, and his sister Margaret Louise.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 10th, 2013, 7-9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 11th, 2013 at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
