A legend in the Romeo community and especially the Romeo Community Schools. What a great guy and someone who has certainly left a legacy.

Ed Battani was a dear man. He loved his volunteer work with the Peoria Diamond Club selling scorecards. His team of volunteers loved him and have missed him dearly this season. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Dear Myrna,
So sorry to read of Ed's death. You may remember me( Ellie) from the Drs. office in Romeo.
We also were members of St.Clements Church.
We lived on Morency near where you lived.
We retired to Mt. Pleasant area in 2000.
Really miss all the romeo people but really like it up here..
Hope you are doing well, Myrna.
Know that Jesus is always near you especially during this difficult time.
God Bless.

Seeing ED outside his condo or riding in his golf cart so that I can wave to him and have a chat
