We have some wonderful memories of John, including the day of the photo below. My parents, John and Janice, love you both so dearly and we are so thankful that we became friends with you and John as well. John will forever live in our hearts, thoughts and prayers . . . as do you. We'll see you our next visit to Michigan, okay? God Bless you and your family during this difficult time. With Love . . . Peggy, as you mom and dad (Betty & Gus Frizzell) adored you and John. Gusie considered John one of his dearest friends. Some of my earliest memories include you and John. I will always remember John with fondness....remembering how you both comforted mom when she struggled over the loss of her Gus. Thank you, John, for your compassion and many kindnesses throughout the years. My sympathy to you, Peggy, and your entire family. Sending my love and prayers your way....

We were so sorry to hear of the loss of the love of your life. John was always a bright light in my contacts with him when I was first joining BPOE #810. I am sure this is a reflection of how happy and content he was with his life. Surely his family and friends are a big reason for this.He will be missed dearly.

Our sincere condolences to the Combs family.
John was an extreme likeable person. I played
in Elks golf league with John for a short time and he never hesitated to smile and say
hello. I had many conversations with him
at Ryans Barber Shop while wife Jan was cutting his hair. Even though there is a
gap in our ages, we talked about old Pontiac.
John, you will truly missed. We are away
and cannot attend services, but your are
in our hearts and prayers. On behalf of
my wife and I, rest in peace.
