I remember Mrs Musial when she and Stan; along with Red and Mary visited Jim Marticus's Resturnt at 6th and Walnut street in the forties. I was just a bus boy who injoyed knowing them.

My sympathies to the family. What a life they shared! I am originally from St. Louis, but live in Colorado now. We are die hard St. Louis Cardinal's fans. Stan and Lil actually lived around the corner from my husband years ago in St. Louis Hills. He loves to talk about his childhood memories. My husband's (Bob Cuba) house was 6264 Westway Place. He truly cherishes those times.

Mr. Musial, since watching you play ball in Sportsmen Park as a young boy, I have always been a fan of your athletic ability, and having had the opportunity to meet you a few times, I have never forgotten how genuine and gracious you are. I am sure yours and Lillian's was a great love story of 72 years. I offer my deepest condolences to you and your family. My prayers are with all of you. God rest Lillian's soul and God bless you all.
