I just recently learned of Judge Fenton's passing through the Dallas Bar Association. My first legal job after law school was as a municipal prosecutor and I would appear in Judge Fenton's court in Farmers Branch at least one a week. He always took the time to meet with me to give me pointers and tell me stories. He was always laughing and smiling and treated everyone with respect and kindness. He was one of my first mentors and I still remember and cherish the advice he gave me.

Al was a long-time friend and colleague. My wife Jane and I will miss him dearly. Not only did Al and I share a bond as fellow attorneys, we also worked together in the Navy JAG reserve corp. In that capacity, Al was my mentor which has proved invaluable to me. Not only will we miss his friendship and counsel, but on the lighter side we will miss his dry wit and the scribbled notes that he would send us from time to time. Thomas Howell

Dear Janey this is Betty and Anthony Lockaby expressing our deepest heartfelt sympathy at the loss of your beloved husband Al . We were blessed to know him even a short time at Prestonwood Church Dallas Campus in Larry
& Sandria Freeman's Kingdom Builders Class and at our care group. He is a good man he will be missed by many friends As Judge Al stands before the great almighty JUDGE, he will be welcomed into heaven by the righteous blood of Jesus Christ In God's presence he will hear "Well done good and faithful servant ...enter into the joy of thy Lord". Blessings, peace ,joy ,and comfort to you Janey and family
Love from your friends, Betty and Anthony Lockaby
