So sorry to lose my sweet friend. What a wonderful Christian lady. One in a million. She was a role model and an inspiration for many. She will be greatly missed. Much love for this fine lady. God bless.

Billie, was a dedicated and committed employee of Buckner. It was more than a job to her, it was a ministry as she, with God's divine guidance, made hundreds of families see that prayer is of God and that He hears and answers these requests through the love and commitment to His divine plans by using the talents and Christian love of His servant, Billie Shotts. This was proven true through the placement of hundreds of babies into the love and care of dedicated Christian families. I had the opportunity to work with Billie in such placements in the Lubbock and West Texas area, while serving as the Administrator of the Buckner programs in West Texas. It was a blessing and I thank God for allowing me to work with such a caring, loving, and dedicated employee. She will be missed, not only by her precious family, but so many others ,who were touched in a special way by this sweet woman of God. May the blessings of God be upon the family by strengthening and guiding the family through this difficult time. Thank God for His love and compassion through the tough times of life.
