After trying to reach out to my old friend for years I've just come across this obituary. I am saddened by this news. Charlene was a wonderful person that I regretfully lost touch with when I moved away from
Dallas. Blessings to Frankie and his family.

Charlene was truly one of the nicest, giving and most hard working people that I have ever met. I had the privilege of working with her at ESD for many years and couldn't have done my job without her. Always organized, always prepared, always willing to help others and always working with a smile on her face. Whether it was organizing tournaments, scheduling games and officials, scheduling transportation or preparing for athletic banquets, Charlene was always the person that made everything work perfectly. We shared many a laugh at some of the very funny things that happened during the athletic seasons.
I will miss her very much and I send my thoughts, prayers and strength to her entire family at such a difficult time.
