Even though my friendship with la maestra was short-lived, I'll value it forever. She was a charming delight and my Italian lessons with her are among my most cherished memories. After so many years in the United States, Diana's heart had perhaps become American, but her soul was always Italian. Aldo, E certo che Diana era la lucia e la anima nella sua vita.
