A real gentleman, patriot, family man and a leader who had great character. It is an honor to have known and to have worked with him. He will be missed.

Earl Tweed is truly respected and admired by those who knew him. His service to God, his Country and his Branch of service, his Family, his Friends and his Fraternity. Faithful, diligent, and dedicated. How fortunate are we who knew him in these various parts of his life and others. To have worked with this great man in just one of the areas of his life was a privilege. Brother Tweed was my Masonic Brother and I considered him a friend and one on whom I could depend.

All men should endeavor to emulate this man's life. His service to family, country, and the masonic bodies was an example for all to follow. Thank you for all your advice and counsel. Sincere condolences to family and friends from the Slate family.
