Trivia question after Trivia question--no recall from this Senior. Luckily someone on our team of eight would come up with an answer. Suddenly....a question I knew for sure: "Where was Abraham Lincoln born?" "KENTUCKY" I excitedly exclaimed to the team! But.....to my dismay, our team began discussing the answer after the "silver" tongue of our dear friend ED explained in detail why the answer was "ILLINOIS"--he even convinced me! That ED could convince a cow that he really was a horse! Needless to say our team got that one WRONG!! "Yours Truly" NEVER let Ed forget it either. On our trips back East, when we drove through KENTUCKY, I would call ED to ask him why there would be a highway in KENTUCKY named for LINCOLN?!?! You can imagine his response, can't you? This is only one of the many memories we have stored in our hearts of this compassionate man and our precious friend ED SPALDING. Stan & Diana
