I had the privilege of meeting Ms. Ela at The Plaza of Richardson where my mother is a resident. She was a joy to be around, a lovely lady who always had a smile. I will miss her very much. Her children were her pride. My sincere condolecenses to all of her relatives. She is now resting in peace with Our Lord.

It was my honor to share almost 40 years of friendship with Ela MacDowell. During this time I watched as her devotion to God only grew and was evident in her words and actions. Ela deeply loved her sons and liked sharing their joys and successes with me. She is irreplaceable and I will miss her greatly.

Ela was a wonderful Christian woman. She was so proud of her boys and loved them so much.

She will be missed

It seems like the end of an era. I can't imagine not having Ela here on this earth. But she was in this world but was not of this world. She was a woman of great faith. She was also a teacher of the Word. She taught so many "Pioneer Girls" on Wednesday evenings at Scofield Church. I know she is in the presence of The Lord and she is happy.

I will miss her.

She was a very special lady and I am privileged to know her and to share grandsons with her. Her unfailing faith and love of the Lord was a constant example to all of us.
