Awful sorry to hear about Chief. Didn't know him well and only met him a handful of times once he moved to Austin. He seems to have been loved and respected by many. Sounds like he helped a lot of people over the years. He impressed me as a gracious man.

I coached with Chief during the Jim Dodson days at SGHS. The most gracious and well spoke man I ever knew. He was a man of few words, but when he spoke, everyone listened. We have all lost an important part of our lives. He will be long missed.

Thank you for being a great influence in our lives! Without Chee Chee and you I might not have chosen to be an educator for 36 years! Again, thank you for your guidance, love and generosity! We love you and will miss you dearly!

Chief, I am so very sorry to hear this and for your loss of your dear Dad. I have wonderful, special memories of your parents, my parents, & the Whitaker's playing cards and drinking coffee!...& of our Dad's never missing a game! I can still hear CheeChee's laugh and hear the voice of your Dad....when he spoke, we all listened! Very, very special people your parents...they will always hold a special place in my heart.
