Phyllis Dannemiller Obituary

Dannemiller, Phyllis June (Evans) (Evans) Dannemiller, Phyllis June of Plano, TX passed away in Plano, TX midnight on Thursday, December 26th 2013, at the age of eighty-seven. Phyllis was born on June 1, 1926 in Akron Ohio, to the late Ruth Crane and David Ranney Evans. She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan with a degree in Zoology. From there she went to University of Minnesota where she studied nursing. While on leave of absence she met husband, Julius Ralph, "Danny" Dannemiller through a mutual friend and they were married on October 7, 1950. They lived together in Cleveland, OH before relocating to the Dallas area in 1960. Phyllis was an active member of St. Patrick's Church, worked tirelessly for The St. Vincent's De Paul Society and endeared herself to those she led in prayer group by her powerful witness of faith in Christ. She was also very active in The Christian Community of God's Delight, being a testimony to our Lord and His Holy Spirit. She treasured being a member of the Society Mayflower Descendants, happily sharing that Governor William Bradford was her relative. She loved genealogy and making quilts for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Perhaps her most as amazing talent was her ability to raise seven blessed children. Phyllis will be remembered by her family as a loving wife mother and grandmother, and for her love of her dogs, the Animal Planet Channel, weddings and family time. Her faith is treasured by all who knew her. Phyllis was preceded in death by her brother, David Crane Evans and her husband. She is survived by 2 daughters, Julia and Rich Eberly of Friendship, WI and Kathy and Rick Brookshier of Billings, MT, five sons, Ralph Joseph and Linda of Phoenix, AZ, Greg and Pam of The Colony, TX, Jeff and Celeste of Cody, WY, Dr. Timothy and Shirley of Little Elem, TX and Mark and Khoa of Mesquite, TX. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and more than 20 great- grandchildren. A celebration of life is scheduled for 3:00 P.M., on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at ARIA Memorial Chapel in Dallas. Please send family condolences to www.ariacremation.com
