I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Schuttger's passing. He and my father, George Meusel were childhood friends and remained friends into adulthood. Their mothers were close friends, both being from the old country. I have such fond memories of the Schuttger's from as far back as I can remember. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Enjoyed 50+ years' friendship, both professional and personal confidences. Many, many happy times in each other's homes, sightseeing trips, and grease monkey challenges. Gerhard was a super close friend. I'll sorely miss him!

Gerhard was such an influence on the neighborhood & myself in helping folks out when they needed an extra hand, especially with his green thumb.
He was such a great man, he will not be forgotten.
Our hearts & prayers are with Jerene, Jackie, Chris, & family.
