May the memories of such a well loved one always be dear to your hearts. May our dear God comfort your hearts and make you firm each day. ~2 Thessalonians 2:17

I only learned of Dr. Brown's passing today 12/5/2017 when I mentioned her to my primary care physician at the Dallas VA. For those of us whom she guided through our battle with Hepatitis C, it's a tragic loss. My heart goes out to her family. She is sorely missed.

I was shocked and saddened to read of Geri's death in the Washburn alumni book. She and I were at Washburn at the same time and lived in the same dorm. She was always friendly and had a smile for me. I was always impressed with her studious nature and seriousness with which she took her studies and time at Washburn. What a loss to her community, family, and friends. Nancee Stewart

My husband and I are so very sad to hear about the passing of Dr. Brown,,,we were at the VA liver clinic for a follow up today and asked where Dr. Brown was?? We were floored!! Dr. Brown was very passionate about her liver patients. On the last two visits she
came
in and congratulated my husband on completing and being cured of HepC, she said "you were so advanced that I didn't think it would work and I didn't think you would stay on program, but you did and I'm do proud of you"!

Our heart and love goes out to her family, may she RIH, she was truly an angel sent from God!!
