Gladys, a very beautiful lady with a very big heart. She is my American mom. in 1973 she helped me adapt to my new home in the USA. She took me places and interduced me to many people, invited us to her home and made us feel very welcomed in this country. We stayed in touch over all these years. She will stay in my heart and in my mind. May her soul Rest In Peace .

Betsy and I and the entire Graham Family and Wright Family always enjoyed Gladys and George's visits to Florence, SC. They were always so engaging and interesting to share time with, especially family fellowship around the dinner table on special occasions. Gladys would always remind me of her dad, Edgar Graham, who was truly a generous and kind person who loved and cherished family. Gladys, too, enjoyed and loved her family. We will dearly miss her kind and loving spirit. Our prayers are with all the family.

To me, Gladys and George were a matched pair. Gladys had that beautiful smile and warm eyes and would listen to every word you said. George was rascally and would always make you laugh. But, then when a problem came up, he would get totally serious and find a way to help. Then...Gladys could surprise you. All of a sudden she'd burst out laughing, tickled at herself. They were great folks, parents, and grandparents. They will be sorely missed.
