I am practically at a loss for words as I just learned of Dr. Williams' passing. I became one if his patients over 30 years ago. I remember his making the comment to the anesthesiologist as I was going under for a very serious emergency neck injury surgery that I would probably have to have the surgery repeated in 10 years because of the osteoarthritis he found in my vertabrae. I said all that to say that because of his expert skill, not only in saving my life, but relieving me of the tremendous pain, his corrective surgical repair has lasted me up to this time (mid 80's - 2015!). I have sung his praises all these years! What a surgeon! I will miss him! Marsha Irene Jones
Happy Birthday Bro!
I think of you and miss you every day.
I love you-D
I just learned of Dr. BO's passing. I was one of his many patients. His dad Dr. Phillip Williams Jr. referred me to him in 2008.
Dr. Bo was an exceptionally caring, kind and sweet young man who always had a smiling face. He was one of the main doctors who saved my life in 2009. I'm grateful for knowing such a wonderful Christian gentleman who will truly be missed but not forgotten.
My prayers are with The Williams family in their loss.
My Sincere Sympathy
Remembering (Bo)from the Family of Betty S. Johnson (Nanny).Heb.11-1
My husband and I were patients of Dr. Williams - he was so caring and such a gentle young man. I am so saddened and shocked to hear about his passing.

We first met Dr. Bo through his father. We enjoyed his wit and compassion. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Williams family.
My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Williams, and we recently found out about his untimely passing. This news made us both very sad. He was an outstanding doctor with a great bedside manner. He will be greatly missed by his patients. Our prayers go out to his family. God bless.
I am shocked and saddened to my very core about Dr. Williams' passing. He was my physician for the last few years. I am in total awe of him after reading his obituary and learning of all the extraordinary things he'd done in his short life. I just knew him as a very kind, quiet but great wit and very earnest in treating the "whole" person. You can't ask for much more than that in a doctor.
As testimony to his reputation, every time I had to list him on one of my other doctor's or hospital forms, there was confusion because there were several "Dr. Phillip Williams". But when I said he was the third, everyone always said, "Oh, Bo!" Everyone knew him or of him and really, really liked him. Now that's a testimony to his time of earth as short as it was. I will miss him and try to be a better patient from now on. My most sincere prayers go out to the family. He was one of a kind.
My brother Bo...we grow up ,his mom and dad parent me like one of their own children.we never fished we try to catch young alligators,we swim with Betty(the nanny) keeping a eye on us.we went bee hunting in the black jeep and all got stung.we went horseback riding in the neitherhood.we did everything what a boy supposed to do.Thanks God for your parents, your brothers and sisters and all the fun we had.
I just learned of Dr. Willimas' death and i'm so sad about it. He was so gentle to my mom who was a patient of his. You touched so many lives. God Bless You.
I just received the news of Dr Bo's death. I am shocked and so very sad for your family. I was one of his patients and Dr Bo was a wonderful comfort to me when my 32 year old daughter died suddenly last year. He always had time to listen. What a huge loss for his family as well as us, his patients. Your family is in my prayers.
I had the pleasure of working for "Bo" in his Internal Medicine office in Athens, Tx. "Bo" and I would occassionally twist off a little early and head off to the Koon Kreek Klub and fish to finish out the day. His love for BBQ and passion to love people for being human was what he preached. We laughed alot. Most definately Earth's loss and Heavens gain. Loved you like a brother Bo!!!
Dr. Williams, I just heard the news today of the loss of your son.I did not have the opportunity to know "Bo", but he had to be a special man, just as you are. My prayers are with you and Bobbie Sue as you walk through this sadness. May God comfort and strengthen you and your family during the days ahead.
Death must be so beautiful. To lie in the soft brown earth, with the grasses waving above one's head, and listen to silence. To have no yesterday, and no tomorrow. To forget time, to forgive life, to be at peace. -Oscar Wilde
See you on the other side someday my friend
Dr Williams will be missed so much. He had the spirit of an angel caring for patients, genuine concern. My family and I didn't know his family but we knew they had to be special because he sure was. Our prayers are with his family and all who loved him.
With much sadness we learned today of Dr. Bo Williams passing. He was such a caring person and the best Doctor we have ever had. We were fortunate for his care the last two years. He always tried to accommodate us with our appointments later in morning as we lived tree hours from his office. May God be with your family at this time. We will miss him very much. Roger and Shirley Butler Idabel, Ok.
It brings me great sadness to hear about your death Dr. Williams. It hurts so bad.Your care for your patients can not be compare to any other doctor. You exceed every standard of a typical doctor. I can't imagine looking for another doctor. My prayer goes out to your family. May your soul find eternal rest. Your soul may have departed with us here on earth but your spirit still live with us. We will miss you dearly.
Though I hadn't talked to Phil in several years, I remember him well. Phil was a good friend of Rich Livingston's, and we shared many great times with Phil in New Orleans. I don't think I ever saw Phil without a smile, he was a guy you just had to like. I was very sad to hear of his passing. My prayers go out to your entire family during this sorrowful journey. God bless you all.
This is a punch to the heart.
Bo was the perfect but rare combination of nurturing and mirth. I was privileged to be part of trip to Africa with the Williams men a decade ago. I have fabulous memories of that time together and the loss of Bo Williams is a blow to all of us who admire the extraordinary
I'm so sorry to hear about Bo. My brother and I got to know him when he was in med school in New Orleans. He was one of the nicest most down to earth guys that I've ever met. He will definitely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the Williams family.
Dr. Bo was an outstanding, dedicated physician with incredible wit. He was remarkable and I thought so much of him. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My prayers go out to his family during this time of absolute loss.
I remember Bo as a little boy when I used to help out in the summers at the Williams home when I was a teenager. I used to come over and wake up Bo and his brothers and sisters and take them to the pool. I remember Bo as a sweet little boy. My deepest sympathy for Dr Williams, Bobby Sue, and the rest of the Williams family. My heart is saddened to hear the news today.

I worked with Dr Williams in Athens. He was such a great person and he will be missed.
Bo was one of the most caring people I know. His occupation suited him perfectly, as he was always genuinely interested in the wellbeing of others. He will be deeply, deeply, missed.
I've only gone to Dr. Williams 3 times and felt he was one of the best doctors I've ever gone to. It is so sad to hear about this. My prayers and my heart felt feelings go out to him and his family.
Ms. Bobbie Sue and Dr. Phil: Received the news this afternoon. I was Bo's patient briefly as he started his practice. When I saw his handsome face, I remembered an unexpected visit from you two (from New Orleans to Dallas)and can picture you and Bo in my kitchen having ice tea, asking me if I had ever had such a "house- call" like this? I know you and Ms. Bobbie Sue are proud and generous to have shared Bo with the world, such an extradinary gift, and Saturday - God opened his present and claimed Bo as his child. Prayers to your family until you're reunited with Bo.
Dr. Williams was a wonderful doctor and a great human being. He was always in a good mood when I ran into him during rounds. My heartfelt sympathy to his parents.
Dr Williams was my doctor and provided wonderful care for me since he came to Dallas to practice. I pray for the family and want them know that even in his short life he was loved and will not be forgotten. May God's strenght and love be with all of you during this difficult time.
You are greatly missed Dr. Bo, your book recommendations always gave me something to look forward to and us something in common to talk about besides work.

My deepest sympathy and prayers on the loss of your beloved son, a Tulane School of Medicine alumnus and special physican. He will be sorely missed.
Bo was my doctor from 2008-2010. He was such a caring person. He put his patients needs first. He shared his life with his patients and we were rewarded by being in his care.
My deepest sympathy and condolences to his family.
I am praying for the Williams family during this difficult time. I will ask God to give you comfort, strength, and peace.
Praise the Lord for his salvation and defeat of death. "Whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life."
Much love to Dr. Phil and Bobbie Sue
Like Bo, I am the youngest of 4. Because I was friends with his oldest sister almost from the time he was born, I thought of Bo (BoBo) as my little brother, too. I'll never forget Derick teasing him saying, "Bo, you have a crush on Victoria" and Bo saying "Nuh-uh, that when I was a litta boy" (at the grown-up age of 5). I hadn't seen him lately, but I know the man he'd become from that "litta boy" made his family proud. Love and God's peace to the Williams, Porters and Lancasters.
To the Williams family,
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5: 4. May the Lord uphold you at this time of your great loss, comfort you and grant you the grace to pass through this moment of grief, Amen. Please accept my deep heart felt sympathy and condolence. Rev. Esther (Essy) Agboaye

As a "good son of the school," we were so saddened here at Virginia Episcopal School to hear of Bo's passing. He was a proud member of the class of '90 and fondly remembered by classmates and faculty. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and trust that they will find comfort from Bo's lasting contributions to the larger world.

Precious Friends, Words are inadequate to express how dearly we love you and how we hurt for you. We know that Bo found his hope in our Risen Lord. You always have lived in God's Word and may you find solace in His promises.

Dr. Williams took wonderful care of my father during a recent hospitalization, and both my parents were looking forward to putting their healthcare into his capable, sure hands. His loss is an immeasurable one to his family, friends, staff, and patients. May God wrap His loving arms around all of us during this difficult time. Godspeed on your new journey, Bo --
i WILL MISS BO VERY MUCH. HE HAD BEEN MY PHYSICIAN FOE ABOUT 7 YEARS AND WAS ONE OF THE NICEST, PROFESSIONAL PHYSICIAN THAT I HAVE EVER MET. MY PRAYERS GO TO HIS FAMILY AND I KNOW GOD WILL CARE FOR HIM NOW HE IS HOME
I was very very sad today to hear of Dr. Williams' passing and at such a young age. He was a very good doctor and I could tell during my first visit a year ago that he was a very caring and good person. I pray for his family in their grief that they will feel God's comforting arms. Rest in God's peace, Dr. Williams!
Dr Bo Williams was one the nicest doctors I have ever had. He had such a nice bedside manner , and took his time to listen to what his patients had to say. I work down the hall for a cancer surgeon and was very amazed when he would walk his patients to our office if he felt they needed to be seen for skin checks etc. He will be greatly missed.
"Absent from the body but present with the Lord." I don't think I ever ran into Bo where he wasn't smiling. He was ALWAYS kind and ALWAYS being a good friend to someone. Most important was his role as brother and son to an amazingly close family that truly adores each other. You are missed.
Such a tragic loss! Words can't express the sorrow I feel for the loss of this wonderful sweet man.
To the Williams Family, much love an prayer, I send you. God is good all the time. Cheryl Thomas, (Dallas, Tx)
You were my doctor, my patron, but most importantly my "friend". A true beacon of inspiration not just to me, but to the thousands of people, young and old, who's life changed for the better after meeting you. You were indeed a very special human being and you made a 'difference' wherever you went.
I do not have the answer as to why you have been called so early in life, but for what ever reason, it must be important as he has chosen the best.
I promise to speak often and fondly of you, this way you will always be around.
My thoughts are with your family and friends.
Il miss you mate.
Not only was Dr. Bo a wonderful doctor, he was & always will be family. I remember growing up with Liesl, Bo, Derick & Jewelee Ann like it was yesterday. The "hi-jinxs" we got away with at the Dallas Country Club will forever be fond memories for me. There was also Sunday brunch at the DCC with Grampa Francis & Grama Sugie. I thank the Lord I have those memories & that I was able to see Bo grow up & become the STELLAR Doctor & person that he was.
Please know my thoughts & prayers are with all of you during this horrific time. I love y'all very much & want you to know I'm here always...
May the Lord Bless & be with all of you. Bo, I will NEVER FORGET YOU...
All My Love+

We will miss you so very much. We depended on you and trusted you with our health. You were so understanding and tender and always there when we needed you.
Gonna miss you, buddy. God bless you Bo.
As a patient of Dr. Williams, I felt his true concern for my well being and know he gave much of his time for others. The lost his patients feel cannot compare to what his family and closest friends must be dealing with and my heart goes out to them.
Our deepest sympathies to the family. My husband was one of Bo's patients and we all dearly loved him. He will be missed.
To the family, many friends and colleagues of Bo, he was an extraordinary individual who will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Over the last decade, I came to know Bo and the Williams family, and one thing is certain, he will always be looking down on you with his smile and sense of humor. Bo was a physician with a caring heart, every bit the gentleman as his father, with a loving heart like his mother. From Judi and I, our heart goes out to you and yours for your loss. May he rest in peace.
He was an amazing doctor and great listener. I will miss running into him in the halls and seeing his contagious smile. I pray the Lord bring peace, comfort, and healing to his loved ones.
I can't believe you're gone buddy. An incredible doctor and great friend.
Our beloved Williams family, no words can express the depth of sorrow we share with you in the earthly loss of your precious Bo. What a legacy he leaves. Just as he brought you gifts of unconditional love, joy, wisdom, and all good things, each of you brought him the same and blessed his life as he blessed yours. May our Comforter wrap you in His arms and carry you through this time and all the days ahead and heal your broken hearts, and may He grant you the "peace that passes understanding". We grieve with you but not as those who have no hope. Your lives and Bo's life are shining testimonies to the God of all hope. Our love, John & Janet Tanner Gordon
Although we did not know each other well I always enjoyed seeing your smiling face every time we ran into each other. I will miss those times greatly. God Bless you all and may He give you comfort and hold you near during this trying time. You will be missed greatly Dr. Bo Williams.
It was always a pleasure to refer my patients to Bo. I knew they would be well cared for and in great hands. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
