To My Precious Son “Tommy” From Your Dad
Tommy no one could ever be prouder than I am to have had such a fine individual as you to be my son.
Everyone wants their kids to be better than they were and you certainly accomplished that.
God truly blessed your mother and me with three precious children who grew up to be such beautiful and exceptional young and caring adults.
I am eternally grateful to God for that.
I am so blessed to have known you. I will miss you more than any words can ever express.
I will miss talking to you each day and hearing your voice.
I will miss your smile and laughter that you constantly displayed. I will miss the many adventures that we went on.
I will miss the courage that you demonstrated when fighting illnesses each time you went to the hospital
You were “The Comeback Kid”.
I will remember with happiness the many trips that we made to Texas A&M for the football, basketball, baseball games, and track & field meets.
I will remember the great times that we had at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas.
I will remember all the friends that you made and that I made with you.
You brought so much joy to your mother and me and your brother and sister and all that knew you.
You inspired so many people in your lifetime with your grit and determination.
You were such a respected role model for so many people. You leave behind so many friends that love you and that will miss you.
You put others before yourself and dedicated your life to helping others first.
You overcame so many obstacles to achieve what most people can only dream about.
Your character, the combination of a person's emotional, intellectual, and moral qualities is unsurpassed.
Your moral or ethical values such as honesty, integrity, kindness… were always displayed at all times.
Tommy you truly enjoyed life to its fullest and helped others to do the same.
You achieved so much in your short life, Dr. Thomas “Tommy” Bartholomew Clark.

Your family, friends, and strangers are in awe of what you have done and how you did it, never complaining along the way.
And you have achieved the ultimate goal in your eternal after life.
I can picture you running up a road surrounded by millions and millions of angels cheering you on.
I see your mother running to meet you with open arms. You pass through magnificent golden gates.
You are perfect in every way. No more suffering, pain, illnesses, or sorrow.
I envy you but am truly happy for you and look forward to the day when I and all here present will see you in Heaven.
You are in Heaven with God and your mother! WOW! CONGRATULATIONS TOMMY ON A JOB WELL DONE!!

I was an employee at Tommy's school when he was little. He was the most profound person I have ever known. He taught me so much about living. He was one of a kind.

An amazing Christian Gentleman

My deepest condolences to Tommy's friends, family and his father.

I had the honor and pleasure of knowing Tommy and am lucky he was apart of my life for 3 to 3 1/2 years. Tommy and I went to law school together and lived in the same apartment complex. I enjoyed walking to school with his dad and him talking anything and everything sports.

Without question Tommy was one of the biggest Aggie fans I know (that is saying something when you live in Texas). Make no mistake, I am not an Aggie fan, but I am glad Tommy got to see their football team succeed this past year. Reflecting on our past conversations about sports, and in particular, Aggies' football, I am saddened I missed out on the opportunity on talking Aggie football with him this year. I know he was thrilled.

Rest in peace my friend. You made more of an impact on people's lives than you know.

God Bless.

Your friend,

Tommy achieved more mentally than most able bodied people. His accomplshments are truly remarkable. He was determined, focused, needless to say intelligent, as well as loving, giving and kind. I truly know that he is in the arms of our loving God and standing on his own two feet. He is also with Olivia and they are having a great day today and all days that are to come. We love the Clark Family and you as the patriarch are to be commended for giving your love, support, guidance and never ending faithfulness and commitment to your family. You are a man of honor and I am constantly inspired by you. My love and heart goes out to you and Brookeanne and Jeffrey.

Yes, Tommy was an inspiration to all that knew him! His body was weak but his mind and spirit were strong and I believe his inspiration was his purpose. Even knowing him a short time, I'm sure his life touched very many. My love and condolences.
