So many beautifully written messages Mary. I worked with Calvin at the Komen Foundation. He was a such great man and I think of him often. I recall that Nov 20 day so clearly and still find it hard to believe as I had spoken to him multiple times that day.
It was a true honor to have known Calvin. Blessings to you and your family.

I knew Calvin from his days at ARCO, (Atlantic Richfield Company) in the Accounting department. I just found out YESTERDAY, 12/06/2016, about his untimely passing. I am so sorry. He was a great colleague. I lost my own wife, Ellen Marie, who also worked at ARCO, in January 2012.

Hi Sweetie,
You have missed so much since your passing - your first grandbaby being born (Mia); our baby's graduation and wedding (JaCorey); and your second grandbaby's birth (Lia). You would be so proud of your daughter (Sheresa) and sons (Johnathan/JaCorey) in the career/personal paths they've taken as well as the way they continue to carry themselves. All in all they could not have done all of this without you being in their lives. We still miss you so much and still love you. You will never be forgotten. I know you're still smiling at us from HEAVEN.
Love always,
Still your wife,

I dont know why, but I was browsing the Dallas Morning News for something else and this obituary popped up out of nowhere. I knew Calvin, Mary and the family, and knew Calvin to be a doer of the Word of God! As soft spoken and humble as he was, he was a man after God's own heart. I truly thank God for all the love we shared at the Rock of Faith Baptist Church in Duncanville in the late 90's and more. God bless you Mary and all the children.

Acknowledgement
Although “Thank You” is not a deep enough word to use in expressing our gratitude for all the love that’s been given to our family during our loss. All the food, phone calls, cards, and words of encouragement just added to the one thing we needed most, your prayers. I know Calvin is looking down on you all and smiling and saying “Thank You” also. He is also reaping his rewards by witnessing here today the seeds he planted along the way. Please, please, please, keep us in your prayers as we face the rest of our earthly lives without Calvin, but “Because God lives, we will be able to face tomorrow without him.”
Love! The entire Brazile Family

We would like to thank all of you for the many wonderful emails, cards, phone calls, flowers, plants, and words of sympathy and inspiration during our hours of grief. The sudden death of my second oldest brothers, Calvin Brazile, was unanticipated. He had not been ill, which makes his departure even more difficult for our family. It is truly a heart breaking experience. Your thoughts, messages, and prayers have helped us tremendously.
Please, please, please, keep us in your prayers as we face the rest of our earthly lives without my brother Calvin, but “Because God lives, we will be able to face tomorrow without him.” Our chain has been loosen but not broken.
God will help us through the difficulties we are facing and because He loves us, He has promised to bring us to a brighter tomorrow.

To Netta & John Arthur and the entire Brazile family:
This message comes from Billy, Emmett, Melvard, Hollis & Mildred:
Your family in Michigan (along with Mother and the ones in Texas) has you in our prayers. May God give you the strength to go on. I know this seems like the hardest thing you will ever go through, but it does get easier if you continue to trust in God, as I know you do. To Netta, when my wife and I lost our son earlier this year, you told me to trust in the Lord God with thine whole heart, and lean not to thy own understanding. Now I am recommending you to the same God you recommended to me. He brought me through, and He promised that he will do the same for you.
We love you and will see you when we get back home.
