Elmer Batista

My condolences go out to both Nancy and Tom, and all of the extended Batista family. I remember you Dad quite well with fondness, from those days so many years ago.

Tom was a table mate to my mother Genna at Spring Creek Gardens. I would come to isit with my mother 3 days a week and while Genna was getting ready for the day, I would go to the dinning room to check in on everybody. Tom would be in there eating or just finishing breakfast and always try to get me a cup of coffee. I would visit with him for a short bit and
then go check in on mom. We would have our lessons and then sometimes
I would stay for lunch.Fridays were different, it's Wal-Mart shopping trip.
I would help the residents get on the bus and Tom had his front passenger
side seat.He always put a smile on everybodies faces. He will be greatly missed as he always spread the love to one and all.

Remembering Mr. Batista's family during this difficult time, may the God of all comfort help you through this time of sorrow and in remembering his wonderful promise to bring back to life our loved ones.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for Dad's life on earth and for the incredible gift of his eternal life with you.
