We,too, have great memories of Uncle Ken's 90th birthday. He hiked up and down and over the bridges of the San Antonio River Walk like a 70 year old! Later he tackled a steaks on the grill dinner and birthday cake with an appetite of a 30 year old! He lived life to the fullest, as we knew from his stories of early days at the lake in WI, WWII, mapping the remote canyonlands of Utah, leaving Africa with only the clothes on his back, and escaping injury during the earthquake and crash landings of bush planes in Alaska.
We so appreciated the support Uncle Ken, Lupe, family and friends gave us during the final months of my dad's life. Lupe and their Dallas friends did the same for Kenneth. Thanks to all for seeing his last days go peacefully.
