The wonderful Summer visits to see him and Lupe in Manitowish and taking rides on their boat in the beautiful "Golden Pond" backdrop will always be in my memories. His KINDNESS to me was so appreciated... as well as his amazing intellect. Robert Whitield

We enjoyed reconnecting with you, Uncle Ken, after so many years, especially your 90th birthday weekend. What fun!! Also we enjoyed meeting Lupe, your devoted wife. We know that with her unconditional love and constant caring, that is what kept you going. Thank you for your prayers for my family during difficult times. I know there is a special place in heaven for you and God is smiling upon you. With love, Barbie and Bill

I will always remember the stories. Ken shared wonderful tales about his childhood in Wisconsin and time spent during WW II with the Special Services. Every time we met he always had a new tidbit of information to disclose about Manitowish Waters history and the way life on the lake was back in the days. We will miss the warmth of his smile and the site of him passing by on his pontoon with the American Flag waving in the wind.

We enjoyed or many talks up at the Lake.
Gordy has fond memories of much time spent together over the years with his dear Uncle Ken. In our hearts always.
