Great friend, best man in my wedding, and fellow alumni of Culver and Univ. of Houston law school. We both were Asst. U. S. Attorney's in Dallas and then worked at prominent Dallas law firms -- he at Fulbright and Jaworski and I at Locke Punell (now Locke Lord). When I moved to Wash. DC, we stayed in contact for years by phone and occasional visits. I sadly lost track of you as you must have moved and telephone info did not have you listed. My wife and I send you our friendship, love, thoughts of good times, and laughter. Our prayers are with you in Heaven. We look forward to rejoining you at some future time. Give my regards to Harry Koch. Your friend, David R. Bickel (Emmitsburg, Md, Adj. Prof. European History, Mount St. Mary's Univ.).

I was a childhood friend in Brazoria and spent lots of good time on the San Bernard River with him. I lost track of him in the early 70s and just stumbled on the obituary. I wish we had kept up.
