A sadness fills my heart to know Nash Flores is no longer with us. A true leader, example and warrior for the Arts community. It was a pleasure to know him through the BTW/Arts Magnet Bldg Campaign, Adv. Board. He loved our school, faculty, alumni and the rich history. He always led by example. He gave great advice, and words of wisdom to me as I served as BTW/Arts Alumni Assoc Pres. He will truly be missed!

Went to High School with Nash and we were in Boy Scouts together and went to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville. My mom, Lillie McGowen was a good friend of his Dad as they grew up together.

We have all lost a man who gave so much of his life to making opportunities for others, his vision and his being were larger than life, and I learned so much by his incredible example of giving to others. I join all of the Booker T/Arts Magnet family in saying that his generous spirit lives on through the passionate hearts of students and faculty alike! I am honored to call him my friend. Marion & Whidden, I am so sorry for your loss and thank you for sharing him with all of us!

I was so sad to learn of Nash's death. We were friends from high school. It was evident, even then, that he would do extraordinary things in his life. He was a wonderful person. My sincere sympathy to his entire family in their loss .

Sincere condolences on Nash's passing.

He was an outstanding business and community leader and good friend, going all the way back to Dallas Assembly days. He will be missed!

May the Good Lord Bless Nash and the Family.
