Dear members of the Wisenbaker family,
I send my deepest sympathy to you all on the loss of your mother. She was a remarkable woman in so many ways, and of all her accomplishments the one of great significance to me was the life and character of her extraordinary son, Art. I regret very much that I only learned of Jean's death last week. I have stayed a little in touch with the class of 1971 from Hillcrest, Art's class ( and mine) in large part because they knew him as he grew up and remember him fondly. AS the date of his death approaches again after 40 years, I stumbled upon the report Of Jean's death and was both saddened and stunned. I wish so much that I had known that she was still in Dallas and that I could have reached out to her if she ever wanted to be in touch and remember Art with someone else who loved him deeply. I know Jean will be greatly missed in your families. I still think of Art all the time and am heartbroken that his life was cut so terribly short. I send love to you all, and my deepest sympathy.
