To Jerry's family. I am sorry to hear that he has passed, however I know God has him in an awesome place. I always enjoyed visiting with him when I did the carpet cleaning in his home. He was a great man, and it shows by his great family.

To Jerry's Family
Today on Christmas today I started to search for Jerry's phone number. To find that Jerry had died was quite a blow to me even though I had not talked to Jerry in over 20 years. My name is Fred Dunfey. Way back in years, I hired Jerry at Xerox in Webster, NY.

Jerry was a very, very special person. I loved Jerry and his wife. They both helped me through a very troubled time in my Life. It is sad that I was unable to connect with Jerry. I had tried in the past but could never find an elusive phone number.

I hope that Jerry's Family has a very special Christmas. I hope that Jerry will pray for me from heaven and that when my journey comes to an end Jerry will greet me at the gates of Heaven.

All my love to you his Family.

Jerry and I were classmates at Eagle Grove High School, then both graduated in engineering from Iowa State, and Jerry was an usher at my wedding in Marion 53 years ago and then we attended he and Connie's wedding a little later that year in Cedar Rapids. And I knew Connie's brother Curt in college and also when he lived in Waterloo until his death. Some people stand out above others in our lives and Jerry was always one of them. Always a delightful person and one who set great examples for living our lives. I last visited briefly with him in August when we both attended a noon gathering of classmates in Eagle Grove with Lynn also being there. Regret not spending more time with him then, but certainly was fortunate to have known Jerry in his earlier years, although we were not together often after college graduation. I'm certain he was content with this life and is now happy to be together again with Connie.

To Jerry and Connie's family
We were so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. He was a very special friend.
We were so glad that we were able to visit with him in Denver last year.
He was so proud of all of you. We shall miss his clever Christmas letters.
God bless,
Love,
Colman and Martha Dell

Brett, Tammy, and family....we are so sorry for your loss. I always enjoy being around your precious family. Brett, your Dad always had only kind words to say, and very often a twinkle in his eyes! I feel blessed to have known both of your parents, and feel comforted to know they are together again watching over all of you.
