I want to acknowledge and give thanks for the years that John Daigh served the Dallas County Community College District as an administrator and teacher. He certainly positively impacted the future of an untold number of students during his career at the Eastfield and Richland college campuses...a legacy of service to others.

To the family of John David Daigh.
I was saddened to read the news of the passing of John. We were classmates at Sunset High School in the mid 1940's. Most likely also at W E Greiner Jr. High and maybe even at Lida Hooe elementary. I still have my 1947 Sundial Year Book with his class picture on page thirty eight. Still have my copy of the Commencement Exercise held at the Fair Park Auditorium on May 30 1947, John is listed as Graduating With Honors. Again I was saddened with the news of somebody whom I had shared a time in place some sixty seven plus years ago and am sorry for your loss.
A 1945/47 Sunset High School classmate.
