My heart goes out to his family....I worked at the OxyChem building back in 1996 to 1998 and I used to deliver his mail to his office....I remember going all the way too the 24th floor and just finding peace there I didn't want to come down...Mr. Hirl would always tell me to keep up the good work...he will be truly missed!

We will miss you Roger. I have many fond memories of our time on the golf course at Bent Tree, I remember meeting you at the first new member reception in May of 1990 before we actually became members. I will always cherish the memories of our times together. Chuck Zody

Condolences and prayers to the family from KHA

A MIGHTY OAK HAS FALLEN! Roger was a prominent businessman, peerless philanthropist, community leader, devoted family man, raconteur, mentor, role model, and friend. He was a Renaissance Man in every respect. And he never stopped fighting the good fight! I remember fondly an evening of great conversation with Roger, covering a multitude of subjects. He knew something about everything, and had a debonair yet humble countenance that was irresistible. May our heavenly Father ease your grief and leave only the cherished memories of his loving ways. And may the angels lead him into paradise.
