My sympathy and condolences in the loss of Jon White: Admired, respected, and appreciated civic servant of our community and special personal friend. I was stunned and saddened by the report of his passing and will miss him and the lunches we frequently had in the past.

George R. Schrader
Former City Manager, City of Dallas

Our hearts are truly saddened by the news of Jon's passing. He is in so many of the fond memories we have of learning from him and working with him at Southwestern Life. He loved living in Dallas and worked hard to promote its values. He made his mark and a real contribution to the success of his family and his City.

Sorry for the loss of your love one, may you find comfort in knowing that those who have passed on in death God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. Psalms 116:15.

Mary Mack: You'll remember that Jon's achievement in KHS was being a
Playboy. Ben Shelton just called John to tell him of Jon's death, and they
told many old stories. You've probably heard those stories, and know
the friendships they shared. We've been out of touch far too long, but
the memories are with us, forever.

John E. and Shirley P. Gumert, KHS '53
