May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dear Dolores
My name is Delbert Dawes, I am a relative of Paul Creech. I too grew up in Colmesneil, Texas. I graduated from high school there in 1972. My grandfather was Delbert Harris,( he raised me ). Aunt Eunice was a sister to my great grandfather who also lived in Colmesneil, his name was John Willis Harris. I grew up with my Grandfather and great grandfather on top of a hill just a half mile from the center of town. It was on east side, in a junk yard about a quarter mile past Katy Baptist Church. I remember Uncle Barney and Aunt Eunice very well, and Paul's brother Eldridge, a highly respected and very loved person who taught music at Colmesneil School. I offer my condolences as well as an apology for not keeping up with the Creech side of the family. I too am in law enforcement and have been for thirty years. I am currently the Chief of Police for the City of Humble, Texas. the Humble Police Department has a web site and I can be reached thereby. I barely remember Paul as he was considerably older than I. Dolores Paul's reputation was well known and outstanding. I admired him and all law enforcement officers - one of the reasons I am one.

Dear Dolores - You were as excited as being with Paul as I was with Cullen and we all were glad to see each other on Bethany Road. I remember you two sitting over at June and Frank Reid's (my parents) and y'all holding hands and you stared at him while he talked. He was most definitely a strong, happy man and you treated him with so love. I think you just liked looking at him smile. I know he is well known in the Tyler County area and we were just a small little part of the world he was BIG in but I'm glad to say I knew him. Dolores - you are great and my heart is with you but more importantly, I know you know God is with you at this time and always. Bless your heart.
With a big prayer for you, Tina Duoto
