How wonderful, that LEGACY GUEST BOOK has offered this option and "a special someone" made this a "forever Guest Book for Kim Dawson"...A place to express thoughts and memories of someone missing in our lives, who we've loved or a dear friend who has touched our lives....

Tisa's message is a reminder, that those who seem to have "passed" are still a part of our lives and our hearts....

Kim will always be an inspiration to me. She was such an encourager and always gave a piece of herself to all she met along the way. She was lovely in every sense, and I was privileged to interview directly with her when I first signed with the agency in 1982. She and George were a fabulous team. I will remember her always and still miss her dearly.

And no resident will say: “I am sick…”Isa 33:24. We can expect this to be a reality in the near future; perhaps you or I may see those missing from our lives due to sickness that leads to death. Prayers go out to the surviving family and friends.

In memory of Kim Dawson, I'm sending my heartfelt condolences to her loved ones and sharing a personal story... As a little girl, and throughout my growing up years in Dallas, my Mother often mentioned her friend, Kim Dawson. She always spoke of her with a personal pride and respect relating to her accomplishments with her Modeling Agency. I'm unsure how their lives were connected, although it's possible they met as young models in Dallas, or at Nieman Marcus in the 1950's. My Mother, Virginia Lea Leech, "passed away" May 2011 and for the past few months I've been reviewing her personal collection of photos, articles, and letters relating to her life. I realized there were "gaps" in the timeline of her life and my memories, and began some research. This has lead to some unexpected connections, including the mention of Kim's "passing" a few years ago. Today, I went online to get to know her better. It seems they both loved the fashion industry and were 1950's career women "in a man's world"....and I'm sure that was the basis of their common bond as friends. Due to my Mother's medical decline with vascular dementia, in 2006, I moved her from Dallas to Florida so we could be together. That's why I was unaware of Kim's passing, nor was my Mother. I can only imagine my Mother's surprise and her smile, when they met again in Heaven. Kim Dawson will always be a part of my cherished memories with my Mother. How wonderful, that Kim has such a loving family to carry on her Legacy...Sincerely, Vicki
