I'm so sorry to hear about my wonderful U of I roommate. We shared so many wonderful times at college and kept in touch throughout the years. She was an Ilini beauty and was beautiful both inside and out. Her smile is always with me. So sorry for your loss Jordan and Peter. Some people just light up the room and other's lives. Mary Jane was that kind of person.

My condolences to you Jordan and to Peter for a loss that is immeasurable. How I wish Mary Jane could have attended our 50 year Sheldon High School class reunion. It would have been epic! Her influence on everyone with whom she came into contact had a lasting effect, whether it was through cheering for the mighty Ram basketball team, being a class officer, or using her editorial influence to coax writers for the SHECO to turn in their newspaper articles on time!
Jordan, I know your mom was proud of you and grateful for the time you were able to spend with your dad when he was ill because she wrote that in my Christmas cards. I will miss them and her. Bless you and take care of yourself. You are always welcome to stop by my home if you ever find yourself in IL. Marsha Gooding

So sorry to learn of Mary Jane's death. I'll miss our yearly Christmas card exchange. I know, David, that u were a big help to her while caring for your dad. Even though we only connected once a year I thought of her often. We shared a lot of good high school memories. With sincere sympathy, Fred and Cathy McEwen
