Our sympathy to the family of Milena. We met Melina when my mother, Lois Hackworth, was a resident of Walnut Place. She was such a lovely woman, so full of interesting stories. She was fond of sitting outdoors greeting visitors. She was a competitive bingo player. We lost contact with Melina after my mother passed away in 2010 and I often wondered if she was still living. May she rest in eternal peace. Becky Taylor

Dear Helen, please acceprt my condolences. Your mother, my cousin Milena, was a great woman. And very courageous; it was not very easy at that time, just after WWII, to leave everything and to move to the States, There were no planes, no compiter, almost no phone to communicate with the family. But she did it very well, sjhe built up a family and a new home in Texas, she enjoied it very much. You have to be proud of her.
