My deepest sympathy to the Halpin family in the loss of our loved one. May the God of all comfort give your family peace and strength to endure this most difficult time as you continue to reflect on cherished memories of Myra Psalms 29:11
April 26, 2017
I am saddened to learn of Myra's death, but my husband and I have many fond memories of her. After Myra retired from the Red Cross, she became a tour guide at the Kennedy Center in Washington. This was only one of her many volunteer jobs, but I was fortunate enough to be on her tour guide "shift" for more than 5 years. What fun we had on those many Wednesday afternoons! Once Myra moved to Indianapolis, we visited her several times, staying with her in her lovely condo, while also visiting my husband's sister. Our prayers and heartfelt sympathy go to Myra's family, whom she adored, admired, supported and championed!

Myra was very passionate and enthusiastic about all she did. She was a mentor to many. Her love for Red Cross and the people she helped and worked with was an inspiration to us all. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

I ws shocked to hear of your loss. Please know how very sorry I am. I worked with Myra in Washington D.C. and will always remember her sunny disposition and her love for the Red Cross.
