Anita, I was thinking of you and decided to look you up. I'm not on any social media, so I didn't know about the loss of your mom. I'm so sorry. I lost my mom the day after Christmas last year (2016). I hope you and your family are doing well. We had lots of good times together. Love you, Cyndi Walker

I spent several happy summers with Aunt Imajean and the rest of the Newell family. She always went out of her way to make me feel special and loved. It's hard to believe she had the energy or the time to devote to me since she had six children to care for. I have wonderful memories of those visits and will always remember how great a person she was.

I first met Imajean while working with the ALR program when it first began in 1994. I quickly learned that she was not only a great attorney but a great lady. She was always willing to help, to answer questions or just to talk. She was wise and had a great sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
