Paul was a wonderful friend and beautiful soul. We met at St. Patrick's Church and began working together in the early 1990's. He was persistent in everything he set out to accomplish including meeting folks and nurturing relationships. "Vaya con Dios , mi Amigo"!

I met Paul in the Spring of 2016 at a St. Thomas fish fry. Immediately Paul and I became friends and the next evening we went to the symphony together. Paul was so friendly, and I was quickly and warmly invited into his life and his circles of friends. We would ride bikes together in Lakewood, where he had a particular route we would always take. He'd tell me about Dallas history, of East Dallas, Lakewood, White Rock Lake, etc. We would have dinner at Luby's, Peggy Sue's, and Trinity Hall. We visited Montserrat Jesuit Retreat House a couple times. He introduced me to Logos Bookstore. Paul was always a pointer to Christ, and he really believed in the power of prayer which was so very encouraging. I am thankful to have been blessed by Paul's friendship, one that was so rich in a short amount of time. How beautiful it is to know that Paul is now resting in our Father's loving arms. God Bless Paul and God Bless all of his family and friends.

Paul recruited to me to be an EM or Lector at the Cathedral this sprint. How could I say no with his enthusiasm and commitment to serve. There is no doubt he will be missed but so welcome in heaven.

My friend Paul will be greatly missed. I first met Paul in 1986 at St. Jude's chapel in downtown Dallas. There he would lector at the daily noon Mass and on First Friday's assist Father Mendoza and Sal with a luncheon. He graciously included me in his summer croquet tournaments and volleyball games. Just this past fall I ran into Paul at the Cathedral and the reunion was like 2 old friends who had never parted ways. That's the way Paul was - he never met a stranger and he always had time to care. I know Paul is dancing with the angels in heaven. Many condolences to his family and friends for our loss on earth.
Paul's friend,
Kay
