Thanks Coach--I first met Coach Stueckler in the Little League baseball program in El Paso. Later on High School "B " team basketball and later on the Varsity basketball team. I was a bench warmer and "practice-dummy", but he mentored me even after I left for college.....he was never satisfied unless you were trying your best. Thanks Coach.

To Gay and the whole Stueckler family, Coach was an immense influence for good in my life and for that I am eternally grateful! He taught me everything that I know about basketball, and even when I went to college, the fundamentals he taught me were the ones that got me on the team. But more than that he taught me character lessons that have served me well for life, and how does ones adequately say "thank you" for those precious gifts?

Coach also was tough when I needed it, there when I was alone, and mentored me in ways that I probably never appreciated at the time. He also coached my family, Mom and Dad, and made himself a loved and respected adviser to them about how to handle a headstrong, arrogant 16 year old. I look forward to seeing Coach in Eternity and hope we can coach together there! What a hoot that will be!
